Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 Virus; please take into consideration your local Monroe County Convenient Centers and Staff. Each Center is staffed with mainly retirees that are up in age. Social distancing would make a difference in the spread of the virus. Be mindful of the following safety tips:
• We will remain open normal business hours of operation. BUT please limit visits to the Centers. The less contact with each individual the better of containing the outbreak.
• I have instructed employees to stay a safe distance until further notice to avoid the risk of contact and furthering the spread of the virus throughout our County.
ALWAYS RECYCLE (REUSE & REDUCE). RECYCLING SAVES LANDFILL SPACE AND REDUCES COST OF OPERATIONS.

1 p.m. – 7 p.m.
Monroe County Landfill is Open:
Monday – Thursday
7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
(Cell Area closes at 4 p.m.)
Friday
7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
(Cell Area closes at 3 p.m.)
Saturday
7:00 a.m. – 12 p.m.
(Cell Area closes at 11 a.m.)
